I heard many of you enjoyed the Members Core video I sent! So, I thought it would be good to continue focusing on the core but to take it in a bit of a different direction. (If you missed the video, please let me know and I will send it to you again.)
Fitness that feels GOOD, movement that feels refreshing. Like something more than just the grind. That’s what I’m talking about here, in ‘Feel Fit’. Our bodies were made to move but it’s so easy to sit the day away. Time goes on and tomorrows all become yesterdays, more yesterdays without feeling refreshingly fit in your blessed, one and only body.
This portion of the site is dedicated to your body’s strength, fitness and endurance. But also how fitness works hand in hand with the WHOLE you, how it fills something more than just a physical need. And how it can fit into your life wherever you are right now.
Workouts on the left, articles on the right. Let’s listen to our bodies and groove a little…move a little, a little more! I hope you find it feels refreshing, inspiring and even fun!
Ever have those days when you feel like walking right past your plans for a workout? You just have too much to do or you're simply out of energy so you step right over those workout clothes you laid out the night before.
Is the problem really that you lack motivation? Personally, I believe it's something more, something on the INSIDE. Motivation waxes and wanes with emotions and outside influences. I can think of a million times I looked at my list of to dos, felt other priorities press me and was tempted to take a day off!
A waste of time! That's what I used to think when I did workouts without sweat dripping from my chin or my thighs complaining out of exhaustion. Slow meant boring, unproductive and uninspiring.
Do you ever feel like you are putting everything into your workouts but not seeing the results? I know, it has happened to me too! UGH! How frustrating…..wake up, workout, repeat…over and over!
Ever have one of those days where your grand plans to workout get pushed aside by LIFE? Save this workout for just those kind of days. Don't laugh! There are some really good ideas here if you can get over the silliness or self-consciousness.
Plus, this is one time I'd advise putting those womanly multi-tasking skills to use. Who knew meal-making also offered an unconventional, yet great, way to move, groove and tone up a little at the end of the day.
So, here it goes....just when you thought you had an excuse!
Like any other area of our lives, fitness goals are reached by stretching ourselves beyond what we are currently capable of. As children we didn’t improve math skills without challenging our minds and progressing to more complicated concepts. Now as adult women, we must get out of our comfort zones to become better wives, moms or servants of the Lord. Well, living fit requires the same kind of ‘self-stretching’.
I’m no militant trainer or boot camp style instructor. In fact, my heart and much of my personal workout time resides mindfully on my yoga mat. Yeah, I enjoy working hard and rocking a good sweaty exercise routine! But, you won’t find me raising my voice or sending my clients to the mat for pushups when they really feel more like a push over.
What I want is to encourage you! To empower you to use that beautiful body God gave you!

The season’s upon us to…
Fall in Love with Living Well
Somehow society, social trends and fitness fads have us all convinced that there’s a right and wrong way to move these beautiful bodies of ours. Marathoning, power yoga, Pilates, Barre Method, P90X and abundantly more…. I’m sure the next luring trend lurks right around the corner. Yes, it is convincing, isn’t it?
