Sometimes we shy away from that which will make us stronger, don't we? It makes sense because anything meant to build strength within us, mind or body, first offers up a challenge. We have to work through tough stuff to gain strength! Very rarely can we gain character, meet a professional goal or even overcome a personal problem without coming flexing our emotional or physical muscles! 

Sometimes meeting our match means gaining strength, courage, endurance, even persisting patience. And, I'm sure we'd all welcome any of that!

Ever have those days when you feel like walking right past your plans for a workout? You just have too much to do or you're simply out of energy so you step right over those workout clothes you laid out the night before.

Is the problem really that you lack motivation? Personally, I believe it's something more, something on the INSIDE. Motivation waxes and wanes with emotions and outside influences. I can think of a million times I looked at my list of to dos, felt other priorities press me and was tempted to take a day off!

Ever have one of those days where your grand plans to workout get pushed aside by LIFE?  Save this workout for just those kind of days. Don't laugh! There are some really good ideas here if you can get over the silliness or self-consciousness.

Plus, this is one time I'd advise putting those womanly multi-tasking skills to use. Who knew meal-making also offered an unconventional, yet great, way to move, groove and tone up a little at the end of the day. 

So, here it goes....just when you thought you had an excuse!

So, put on your favorite music and give this one a whirl! Or if you're so short on time that you can't even get these exercises done all at once, dress comfortably for your busy day and keep your computer, phone or tablet open so you can do them throughout the day!

So, time was pressing hard and I needed to release some steam! Have you ever been there? I'm not sure if you can relate but for me, after too much of this wintry inactivity, my muscles start aching to move more and my mind needs some stress mending. I need a good old-fashioned exercise session but father time simply isn't giving enough away!
